Come Home to Jesus Christ

It’s no coincidence that you have arrived here at this moment. God knows everything. He wants you to know that He loves you beyond all comprehension and understanding. He loves you so much that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to be hated, doubted, persecuted, rejected, whipped, chained, and hung on a Roman cross to die for YOUR sins. He knows your name. He knows how many hairs are on your head. He knows you feel empty. He knows you’ve been searching for answers. He knows your faults. He knows that you’ve broken the Law.

Chances are, you’ve broken at least one of the Ten Commandments, which is what God used to judge the Israelites, His chosen people (the descendants of Abraham with whom He made His covenant), before He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to atone for the sins of the world.

If our God was not a merciful God, you would be justly condemned to death and be separated from God for eternity in Hell. But the LORD God Almighty is MERCIFUL! The following sentences were spoken from the lips of Jesus, while He preached:

“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.” (Matthew 11:25-26)

“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” (Matthew 11:27)

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

Now it is time for action. If you haven’t already, get down on your knees in true humility and meekness of heart and confess your sins before the Lord, Jesus Christ, ask for His forgiveness and ask for Him to reveal Himself to you. Tell Him you believe in Him and that you truly repent of your sins. Give your life to Jesus Christ. Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who, though perfect and blameless, died a sinner’s death on the cross, so you can be born again of the Spirit and have eternal life.

After Jesus died on the cross, He descended to Hell to claim victory over death and rose the third day (flesh and spirit). He appeared to hundreds of witnesses after his resurrection. He lives! AND HE IS COMING SOON FOR HIS CHURCH (HIS BELIEVERS LIKE YOU AND ME)!
